We are pleased to announce a Cooperation Agreement signed betweeen New York-based US-Spain Chamber of Commerce, a 50 years old business association with 236 members both in the US and Spain, and our California-Spain Chamber of Commerce.
With this agreement, the relationship between US-based Spain-related Chambers of Commerce will be strengthened. Spain’s business presence in the US market will be more visible, as well.
The agreement enables corporate members from both chambers to benefit from discounts in membership fees from each other’s chambers in addition to other reciprocal benefits such as:
- Each Chamber will allow reasonable use of their facilities to members of the other Chamber, subject to availability and reasonable advanced notice.
- Each Chamber will communicate events organized by the other Chamber to all its members.
- Each Chamber will extend invitations to events to the other Chamber’s members.
The Chambers will coordinate their joint activities and efforts through a coordination council with two representative members from each chamber.
The agreement was signed by the Chairmans of the Boards of both Chambers in February 2011.
