Valencia Meets Silicon Valley

Valencia Meets Silicon Valley
An Institutional Visit to the Heart of the Bay Area

The California-Spain Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of welcoming an institutional delegation from Valencia to Silicon Valley — a visit that brought together representatives from the City of Valencia, València Innovation Capital, Invest In Valencia, and Startup Valencia for a week of meaningful conversations, connections, and shared opportunities.

The program gave the delegation direct access to some of the most influential organizations in the Bay Area innovation ecosystem. Throughout the visit, participants connected with OpenAI, Stanford University, HP, Meta, NVIDIA, PayPal, Google, Plug and Play, and the City of San José — a lineup that reflects the breadth and depth of what Silicon Valley has to offer to those looking to expand their international footprint.

Beyond the institutional meetings, the visit included a digital innovation session designed to explore the latest trends shaping the tech landscape, and a networking event that brought together the Valencian and Spanish community based in the Bay Area — a moment that reminded us how strong and connected this community already is on both sides of the Atlantic.

One of the highlights of the program was a visit to the HP Garage in Palo Alto — the birthplace of Silicon Valley and one of its most iconic landmarks. A fitting stop for a delegation committed to building the next chapter of Valencia’s own innovation story.

At the California-Spain Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to continue building the bridges that make these connections possible — between institutions, ecosystems, and the people who drive them forward.

US Lab Startups Silicon Valley Program

The California-Spain Chamber of Commerce welcomed a group of Polish companies for a full Silicon Valley immersion program, designed in collaboration with P&L Global to help founders understand the U.S. market and take their first bold steps toward growth.

Over five intensive days, participants explored the ecosystem through a program that combined expert sessions, site visits, hands-on workshops, and direct mentoring from experienced professionals across the Bay Area. From fundraising strategy and legal foundations to innovation talks, 1:1 mentoring roundtables, and a final Investor Roundtable — every day was designed to bring participants closer to the mindset, the people, and the opportunities that make Silicon Valley unlike anywhere else.

It was a week of real conversations, meaningful connections, and a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when the right founders meet the right ecosystem at the right moment. We wish all the participating companies the very best in their journey — and hope to see them back in Silicon Valley very soon.

Startup Mindset: Strategy, Growth & Leadership

An evening that brought together leaders from AI, venture capital, and high-growth tech companies in Silicon Valley for an honest conversation about what it really takes to build, grow, and scale a startup.

The discussion explored the topics that matter most to founders and operators: leadership under pressure, fundraising strategy, operational structure, and the role AI is playing in the way fast-moving companies work today. The session was followed by a networking reception that connected the Bay Area tech community with a visiting delegation of companies from Spain — a room where two ecosystems met and real conversations happened.
