Job Description

The Buyer representative will build strong working relationships with customers, inter-company departments and Genentech/Roche Suppliers. The Buyer will manage the buying process from shopping cart validation to PO release followed by expediting, coordinating returns and managing daily reports.

The job encompasses: review & process Shopping Carts, close & maintain PO, Maintain SAP tables, catalogue maintenance and create Shopping Carts on behalf of end-user. Buyer related Invoice Resolution, creating & distributing Reports, request Supplier addition, coordinate return of Material to Supplier, Accountable for the professional support that is due to our customers to ensure a high tier customer satisfaction level.

Functional Roles & Responsibilities

  • Billingual (Spanish/ English) mandatory
  • Review shopping cart for compliance and process for Purchase Order creation
  • Maintain SAP Tables for category code/ Purchase Group / Tax status / GL / Threshold changes
  • Maintain Sciquest catalog system; upload files; accept files in system
  • Create shipping authorization form and submit for processing and confirm with end-user Resolve the issues on PO to allow invoice posting
  • Resolve Invoices that cannot pay
  • Close Goods Receipt on PO
  • Create and distribute Reports as per the agreed timelines
  • Request and complete Supplier Addition to the system
  • Request return request authorization from Supplier and confirm with end-user
  • Create g2g Shopping carts for specific end-users / business need
  • Continuously develop the skills/competences by sharing the knowledge with other team members and participating to offered training sessions
  • Build strong collaborative networks with key stakeholders and ensure good/adequate communication
  • Provide backup support (phones and emails) as needed.
  • Assist end-users with PO maintenance.
  • Performs other allied duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
