SUMMER 2016 INTERNSHIPS IN THE UNITED STATES

About the program

The California Spain Chamber of Commerce, with the financial support from the Ministry of Labour in Spain, launches the US Internships Program 2016 for young Spanish professionals, who are already living/studying in the US (Check Visa Status Requirements), wishing to do 3-6 months internships with established US companies.

Internships are intended to last from 3 to 6 months depending on each company’s requirements. The approximate starting date of each internship will be established by the company during Spring/Summer 2016.

Where?

Scholarships will be awarded for full-time positions in companies primarily located in California. The Internship positions will have a maximum duration of 6 months.

Who can participate?

  • Be a Spanish citizen under the age of 35
  • Reside in the US
  • Be fluent in English
  • Have a visa allowing internships
  • Have health insurance

Candidates Application Process

Application Deadline: Monday, February 15th, 2016 at 10:00 pm (PST).

Selection Process

After closing the application process, the Chamber will review all the submissions received by February 15th to select the candidates. The selection process will be based on specific criteria that will provide the most effective match with the participating companies.

Companies Application Process

If you are US-based Company looking for young professionals to be part of your operation on a short-term or trial basis, and are interested in participating in this program, please send us a short description of your company, intern job tittle, intern job description and skills/experience requirements to info@californiaspainchamber.org using “Internship Program 2016 – Companies” as subject, by February 15th 2016.
