In case you missed Sunday’s San Jose Mercury News, here is an article on Brazil’s mobile payment industry.

The local papers rarely feature Brazil so we are very pleased to read a good overview on the market with insights from several people we work with: Ron Czerny, CEO of PlayPhone, BayBrazil’s board member; Renata Quintini, Partner at Felicis Ventures, BayBrazil’s Committee Chair; and Eduardo Lins Henrique, Co-Founder of Movile, BayBrazil Mentor group.

And, just out of the oven, our interview with Luis Dib, a Brazilian engineer who’s been living in the Silicon Valley for 15 years. Luis is a Sr. Embedded System Software Engineer at NVIDIA.

You will find his interview in our BayBrazilians page that features interviews with professionals from Brazil who work abroad and professionals from all over the world who have connections with Brazil.
